Outpatient Addiction Counseling

Outpatient Treatment Program’s are designed for persons with an Addiction to Alcohol or Drugs. Before entering an Outpatient Treatment program an individual must be abstinent from alcohol or drugs for a period of time ranging from 2 weeks to one month. Outpatient Treatment consists of a group that meets on a daily or weekly basis usually at a clinic, treatment center, or free standing facility. Typically one or two Counselors run the group focusing on individual issues, or specific topics. Family counseling, and sessions are encouraged during Outpatient Treatment to help the family obtain an understanding of the issues and problems an individual may face. Outpatient Treatment increases he success rate for long term recovery, has proven to be very effective and increase the success rate for long term sobriety.
